on track to become the next speaker of the House. If it happens, the affable
Republican will achieve one of the fastest ascents in House history — or

speaker from California. The other is San Francisco Democrat Nancy Pelosi.

China and the United States: A
21st-Century View [Newseum, 9/25/15]: On Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, the Newseum Institute
presented a panel discussion on the political, economic and social ties between
the U.S. and China, with a focus on the use of diplomacy and other means to
support freedom of expression and religious liberty around the world.
