US House passes compromise trade bill [Jurist, 6/27/15]: The US House of Representatives voted 286-138 to approve a trade law that provides assistance to workers who lose their jobs to international trade and renews President Barack Obama's authority to negotiate trade deals on behalf of the country. It also establishes programs to increase trade between the US and Africa.

[Birmingham News, 6/26/15]: Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore, who has fought against legalizing gay marriage, told CNN on Friday that the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to make same-sex marriage legal nationwide was worse than the Court's 19th century decision to uphold racial segregation.
