the term is shaping up as the biggest liberal rout in decades.
John Roberts, the Umpire in Chief [NY Times’ “Sunday
Review” / Bloomberg, 6/27/15]: The chief justice’s votes in both cases were entirely consistent
and constitutionally principled. He embraced a bipartisan vision of judicial
restraint based on the idea that the Supreme Court should generally defer to

US House passes
compromise trade bill [Jurist, 6/27/15]: The US House of Representatives voted 286-138 to approve a trade law that
provides assistance to workers who lose their jobs to international trade and
renews President Barack Obama's authority to negotiate trade deals on behalf of
the country. It also establishes programs to increase trade between the US and
Africa.

Justice Roy Moore, who has fought against legalizing gay marriage, told CNN on Friday that the U.S. Supreme
